The Winter Music Conference Returns to the Faena District March 16
The Winter Music Conference (WMC) launched in 1985 as a way to bring people in all areas of the music industry together to learn from one another. Now in its 35th year, the WMC is coming back to town from March 16 to 19th at various venues sprinkled throughout Miami’s Faena District. It will be almost a week of panels, Fireside Chats, and education sessions geared toward all types of music lovers.
The Main Stage Panels tend to draw the largest crowds, and this year the keynote address will cover “The Art of YouTube: How Ultra Music Built a Monster Channel.” YouTube’s own Lyor Cohen, the Global Head of Music, and President/Founder of Ultra Music Patrick Moxey are two of the experts who will sit on the panel. Catch this or one of the other engaging informational sessions, enjoy a cocktail hour or yoga at Generator Miami’s Oasis, or take part in a mentor session if you’re an emerging artist yourself. Admission fees vary depending on the aspects of the WMC that you choose to enjoy.
